Forum › Why does the Delete Activity time out?
Dear all,
we recently discovered that 3-year-old processes tend to fault in the Delete Entity activity, the fault messages says something like “Execution Timeout Expired”.
This does not happen always, Execution Timeout Expired.
Why could this be?
Is the Delete Entity an older version of the Delete Activity?
Do we need to update the processes, using a new Delete activity?
Kind regards,
Lisa
Hi Lisa,
there are newer activities available e.g. for the Delete.
You could try to update the process by replacing the old versions of the activities with the newer versions.
Please use the smallest amount of Delete Activities possible and try to only delete small batches of data at once.
If this problem still persists, after replacing the activities with their newer version, please reply, and we will try to help accordingly.
Kind regards
