Forum › What is the best way of spotting removed users in entities?
Dear all,
when I remove a user, e.g. by deleting it, it will still remain in the entity record, right?
Is there an easy way of spotting removed users in which entity they are still referenced?
If forwarding a task for example to the approval, where the owner would be a removed user, the process will be “stuck” with the user who is no longer available and therefore cannot move on.
Is there any easy solution?
What can I do to avoid those situations in the future?
How can I easily spot removed users who are referenced in entities?
Many thanks,
Kathy
Hi Kathy,
you could try making reports for the most important entity types, checking for the user attributes if they do contain deleted users.
In the documentation, click on the following link to find more information on the attributes of the user table:
https://novunex.com/docs/general-reference/data/data-queries/core-tables/#user
If you assign something via Schedule and Condition, you can also include this check in the condition, to avoid making assignments of e.g. trainings or other tasks.
I hope I was able to help you.
King regards,
Lilian
